Start of a success story
The Tudor brand was created in 1926 by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf to provide a low-cost alternative to the premium Rolex watches. Except for the logo, Tudor watches were almost indistinguishable from timepieces of the brand with the five-pointed crown. However, Tudor watches were fitted with cheaper ETA calibres. When Tudor launched the first model in the collection, the Heritage Chronograph in 2010, the sister company achieved a major breakthrough. In the meantime, Tudor and above all the Heritage models have become an integral part of the watch world.
