Nomos Metro Neomatik: Automatic movement

The automatic movement DUW 3001 was designed by Nomos for about seven years and belongs to the high-precision neomatik series. The rose gold model of the Metro is equipped with this calibre. The special features of the DUW 3001 are the flat and therefore comfortable to wear movement and the innovative Nomos-Swing-System for optimal escapement of the watch.

Nomos Metro power reserve with manual winding

The first Nomos Metro, launched in 2014, was the "Date Power Reserve" with a manual winding system. The built-in calibre DUW 4401 was the first to feature the innovative and proprietary Swing system. While a date display is integrated at six o'clock, the disc-shaped power reserve of about 42 hours is located on the upper half of the dial.
