Sinn 857 S
The 857 S is a model with stainless steel housing and a black, hard coating on a tegimented base. When it comes to robustness and functionality, the 857 S is the spitting image of the original model. This version also features the aircraft rotating ring, a magnetic field resistance of up to 80,000 A/m and a water resistance of 200 metres (20 bar).
Sinn 857 UTC & Sinn 857 UTC VFR
The 857 UTC and 857 UTC VFR differ from the original model in the collection by displaying a second time zone. Furthermore, both models are distinguished by their neon yellow and neon orange accents on the dial, indices and bracelet.
Thanks to its extreme robustness and DIN 8330 certification, the 857 UTC VFR withstands all vibrations, temperature fluctuations or shocks that occur during flight operations. In this way, the watch can replace the time measuring instruments contained in an aircraft. These watches are built per the visual flight rules (VFR), which also give the model its name.
Sinn 857 Boeing 747
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Boeing 747, Lufthansa, in cooperation with Sinn, released a special edition limited to 747 units – the Sinn 857 Boeing 747. This model is available for purchase only by Lufthansa pilots. It is characterised by greater variations from the original model. Only the dial and bezel shine in a rich blue instead of a noble black.
