Pacific with a fascinating history
In 1983, when quartz technology was long on the verge of finally displacing mechanics from the watch market, the German watchmaker and entrepreneur Gerd-Rüdiger Lang founded the Chronoswiss brand. Lang firmly believed in the future of the mechanical watch and the fascination of its numerous complications. It is therefore hardly surprising that Chronoswiss is responsible for the first regulator as a wristwatch, which still plays a central role in the brand's portfolio today. In addition to the grand complications, Chronoswiss has also made a name for itself with sports watches such as the Chronoswiss Pacific. The original Pacific followed the partly classic design language that is still typical of the brand today. A case with a narrow, knurled bezel, an elaborately designed but still easy-to-read dial and a reliable Swiss-made automatic movement makes the Pacific what it is.
In 2010, the brand launched a new edition of the Pacific. Sportier in design and without the knurled bezel of the original line, the new Pacific was a modern reinterpretation of the classic - yet with typical Chronoswiss DNA. The collection includes the two three-hand models Chronoswiss Pacific and Grand Pacific in various sizes as well as the Chronoswiss Pacific Chronograph.
