CHRONEXT opens first own boutique for luxury watches in the heart of Munich
Munich, 16 May 2024 - As of today, CHRONEXT, the leading online provider of luxury CPO and vintage watches, is also represented offline with its first own boutique. After more than ten years in the e-commerce business and pick-up lounges in international cities such as Berlin, Zurich and Hong Kong, the boutique in Munich is now a further deliberate step towards brick-and-mortar retail. The shop is prominently located at Karlsplatz 1. The Lenbachhaus, Oberpollinger, the historic Palace of Justice and Stachus are all within walking distance.
Personal consultation and exclusive services on site
In contrast to a CHRONEXT Pick-Up Lounge, the Munich boutique offers selected models of immediately available luxury watches for direct purchase on site. Other services offered by the boutique include minor adjustments to timepieces, such as adjusting the strap. Watches purchased in the web shop can be collected from the location and privately owned watches can be submitted for purchase by CHRONEXT. ‘It was clear to us that our first own boutique in Germany had to open in Munich - a city that reflects our standards of luxury and tradition and where we can offer an exclusive point of contact for watch lovers,’ says Frederike Knop, Managing Director of CHRONEXT. ‘We look forward to welcoming our customers to Karlsplatz in the future and providing them with a seamless experience between online and offline shopping.’ The boutique is fitted with light-coloured stone flooring, while the panelling and counters are made of oiled oak. ClassiCon furniture - including the ‘Odin’ sofa in CHRONEXT signature green - creates a pleasant atmosphere, set off by stylish Occhio luminaires on the ceiling, walls and in the shop windows. Luiz curtains create a modern feel-good look.
