Luminor in Heritage Design
The Panerai Luminor 1950 is a special case design from the Luminor collection, which differs from the conventional series in the following ways:
- Rounded lines (U-shape)
- Thicker horns
- Domed glass
- Inscribed crown protector
- No screwed spring bars (but a quick-change system)
The first model in the Panerai 1950 Luminor collection was the PAM 127 ("Fiddy"), which was presented in 2002. Since then, the Panerai 1950 Luminor has been one of the most sought-after collections because of its extraordinary beauty of form. In addition, the model picks up on the brand's historical design. The 1950 models' diameter is typically Panerai- large and usually 42, 44 or 47 millimetres.
